Company Description

A new brand of Hypermarket due to launch in UAE. We are looking for an experienced accountant, preferably with experience in the Hypermarket sector.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Retail Accountant, located in Dubai. The Retail Accountant will be responsible for managing and recording daily financial transactions, preparing journal entries, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role includes preparing financial reports, assisting with financial audits, and ensuring accurate and timely financial statements for internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you will analyze financial data to support decision-making and ensure the organization's financial health.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Journal Entries and experience in Accounting
• Strong understanding of Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
• Advanced Analytical Skills to evaluate and interpret financial data
• Knowledge of Finance principles and practices
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Proficient in accounting software and tools
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is a plus
