A reputable and well-established Medical Device company is actively recruiting an Accountant for their team in Dubai.

The main responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare and review vendor payments, invoices, and reconciliations.
- Perform bank, supplier, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Support financial reporting and management reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns and maintain supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required schedules and reports.
- Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Maintain vendor master data and support procurement-related accounting processes.
To be successful you will need to meet the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3+ years of accounting experience.
- Experience with accounts payable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements.
- Working knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
- Must have experience working in a B2B business environment, preferably within a multinational company.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, etc.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
