Role Overview
We are seeking for a Mandarin Speaking Accountant. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, comfortable handling large transaction volumes, and able to deliver accurate and timely financial reports in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and process daily sales, purchases, payments, and expenses with high accuracy.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely reconciliations and vendor/customer follow-ups.
- Conduct bank, GL, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Handle inventory accounting, including costing, stock movement, and variance analysis.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS.
- Support VAT filings and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare reports for management.
- Work closely with auditors and support annual audit processes.
- Suggest and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Chinese Language (Mandarin)
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 35 years of accounting experience, preferably in Food Trading / FMCG.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local tax/VAT regulations.
- Proven ability to handle large transaction environments.
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Strong Excel and reporting skills.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Nice to Have
- Experience in international trading and logistics accounting.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics or similar multi-entity ERP.
