We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the company's financial records, accounting operations, VAT compliance, and UAE Corporate Tax requirements. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate bookkeeping, timely financial reporting, tax compliance and adherence to UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Management
- Maintain accurate accounting records, journals, ledgers, and financial transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Process supplier payments and customer receipts.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Prepare management reports, budgets, and financial forecasts.
VAT Compliance
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with UAE FTA regulations.
- Ensure accurate recording of input and output VAT transactions.
- Reconcile VAT accounts and maintain supporting documentation.
- Monitor VAT compliance and assist during FTA audits and assessments.
- Ensure tax invoices comply with UAE VAT requirements.
- Handle VAT registration, amendments, and deregistration when required.
Corporate Tax Complianc
- eSupport UAE Corporate Tax registration and compliance requirements
- .Prepare Corporate Tax working papers and tax computations
- .Maintain documentation required for Corporate Tax filings and audits
- .Assist in preparing annual Corporate Tax returns and related disclosures
- .Coordinate with tax consultants and auditors regarding Corporate Tax matters
- .Monitor updates to UAE Corporate Tax laws and ensure company compliance
.Audit & Complianc
- eAssist external auditors during annual audits
- .Ensure compliance with IFRS, company policies, and UAE regulations
- .Maintain proper financial records and supporting documents for statutory requirements
- .Support internal controls and risk management procedures
.Qualification
- sBachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- .Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience in the UAE
- .Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations
- .Experience with FTA portal filings and compliance procedures
- .Proficiency in accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, Oracle, or ERP systems
- .Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- .Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- .Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
