About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety and Compliance Specialist to join our dynamic team at Apave International. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive safety assessments, ensuring compliance with international safety standards, and providing expert guidance to clients across diverse sectors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of safety regulations, risk management strategies, and inspection procedures. Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or ISO lead auditor certifications are highly preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in safety management, risk assessment, or compliance auditing, preferably within industrial, construction, or manufacturing environments. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are essential. Proficiency in safety management software and familiarity with international safety standards will be considered an advantage.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough safety inspections and risk assessments at client sites to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. Develop, implement, and monitor safety protocols and procedures aligned with local and international standards. Collaborate with clients to develop tailored safety programs that enhance workplace safety and compliance. Prepare detailed reports and documentation of safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations. Provide training sessions and workshops to educate employees on safety best practices and regulatory requirements. Keep abreast of evolving safety regulations and industry trends to ensure ongoing compliance and continuous improvement. Support clients during regulatory inspections and assist in the preparation of necessary documentation for compliance purposes. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert guidance on safety management systems and risk mitigation strategies.
