Accountant - PDE (Professional Development Employee)

PURPOSE OF WORK

Responsible for the general accounting function including performing and recording financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. Also assisting with monthly closings and account analysis and supporting the accounting managers in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department.

REGULAR ASSIGNED DUTIES

• Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance.
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
• Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.

Education:

Bachelor Degree in Accounting

Experiences:

Fresh graduate or with less than 2 years of experience in related field.
