Accountant – Tour & Travel

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our Tour & Travel company in the UAE. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, UAE VAT experience, and hands-on experience with Zoho Books and Zoho CRM.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions, invoices, bills, receipts, and expenses.
• Handle Accounts Payable & Receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Perform bank, cash, customer, and supplier reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare regular reports.
• Assist with UAE VAT preparation and compliance.
• Manage accounting for travel bookings, tour packages, hotels, tickets, suppliers, refunds, and commissions.
• Coordinate with sales and operations teams to reconcile booking and payment records.
• Maintain and review customer/account information in Zoho CRM.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Zoho Books.
• Working knowledge of Zoho CRM.
• Good understanding of UAE accounting and VAT.
• Experience in Tour & Travel / Hospitality accounting preferred.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Travel agency/tourism industry experience will be an advantage.
