Accounts Receivable Accountant Construction / Building Materials (12 Years Experience)
We are seeking a detailoriented
Accounts Receivable Accountant with
12 years of experience in the construction or building materials industry. The role involves managing customer accounts, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer invoicing, billing, and receipt posting
- Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare aging reports and share updates with management
- Coordinate with the sales and project teams regarding billing and collections
- Maintain accurate AR records in the accounting system
- Assist with monthend closing activities
Requirements
- 12 years experience in accounts receivable within construction or building materials
- Strong understanding of billing, LPOs, and projectbased invoicing
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
- Good communication and followup skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
