Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-orientedAccountantto join our Finance Department in a fast-pacedFood & Beverage (F&B) company. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting experience, excellent financial reporting skills, and solid knowledge of F&B cost control.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, petty cash, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate financial statements such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports.
- Handle daily sales reconciliations, Z-reports, and cash collection tracking for outlets.
- Monitor inventory, purchases, wastage, and calculate COGS regularly.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Coordinate with procurement, operations, and kitchen teams for accurate stock and cost reporting.
- Review supplier invoices, purchase orders, and GRNs for correct documentation.
- Provide support to junior accounting staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum35 years of accounting experience,years in the F&B industry.
- Strong and extensive accounting experience, preferably in F&B operations.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting systems (QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, or similar) and strong MS Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
