Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant with strong knowledge of Dubai/UAE accounting laws. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in daily accounting operations, VAT returns, and compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Handle daily accounting entries, bookkeeping, and ledger maintenance

Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with UAE VAT laws

Ensure proper documentation of invoices, receipts, and payments

Manage accounts payable and receivable

Perform bank reconciliations and monthly closing activities

Maintain accurate financial records as per UAE accounting standards

Assist in audit preparation and respond to auditor queries

Ensure compliance with Dubai/UAE financial and tax regulations

Prepare basic financial reports and summaries for management

Requirements

Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience in Dubai/UAE

Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and regulations

Experience with VAT return filing

Proficiency in daily accounting and bookkeeping

Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or similar)

Good understanding of UAE commercial and tax compliance

Attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently in an office-based environment

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Experience working with UAE-based companies
