Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a General Accountant located in Qesm El Sheikh Zaid. The General Accountant will be responsible for preparing and maintaining financial records, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, analyzing financial data, and ensuring accuracy in reporting. The role also involves reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, managing tax filings, and supporting internal audits. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements is a key aspect of this position.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting principles, financial analysis, and bookkeeping
- Experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting
- Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
- Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance reporting
- Highly skilled in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial reporting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plus
- Previous experience in the real estate or construction industry is advantageous
