Accounting Executive

Job Description:

• Perform day-to-day accounting transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and current account reconciliations.
• Support the timely month-end and year-end closing of accounts.
• Investigate and resolve Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger(GL) discrepancies with internal and external stakeholders.
• Liaise with auditors and assist in audit preparation, documentation, and queries.
• Manage Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable functions for local and overseas entities.
• Monitor cash flow and follow up on outstanding collections.
• Ensure proper accounting records and supporting documentation are maintained.
• Support finance-related projects and undertake other ad-hoc duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Experience with MYOB, accounting software, or ERP systems will be an advantage.
• Comfortable working with digital tools familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
