We are seeking an Accounting Manager to be a key player and partner with our Senior Accounting Manager, for our growing team. A professional with an excellent technical aptitude, high analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports. You will have

Requirements:
- SAAS and ASC 606
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of general accounting functions including but not limited to accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR) and tax reporting
- Perform payroll review
- Manage cash flow, company budget and supervise financial transactions within the company to ensure timely processing, completeness of supporting documents, validity of transactions and there are no discrepancies in reports.
- Maintains financial security by following, improving or establishing internal controls of existing Company processes and policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to improve and standardize accounting processes
- Proactively track inter-department concerns and coordinate with functional owners to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
- Daily cash management reporting
- Assist in and review of bank reconciliations
- Create and or review general ledger (GL) entries
- Preparation and review of financial statements
- Play a key role in leading and managing financial tax audits
- Play a key role in month-end and year-end close process
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) principles
- Liaise with our Senior Accounting Manager to improve financial procedures
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to lead policy and procedure manual
- Manage team performance and regular review to ensure career development
- Any other function as may be delegated (special projects)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA required
- Leadership experience required
- In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures
- Experience in reviewing financial accounting statements
- Experience with general ledger (GL) functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Full cycle accounting experience required
- Advanced technical skills including, Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, filters, and pivot tables)
- A keen eye for accuracy and have an attention to detail
- Candidates are willing to work onsite in Davao City, Davao Del Sur
