Accounting Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead and oversee centralized accounting operations across multiple business units and legal entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls, and compliance with applicable accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Oversee General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, and Intercompany accounting.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and compliance with IFRS.
• Manage accounting operations across multiple business units and legal entities.
• Strengthen internal controls and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Drive accounting process improvements, ERP enhancements, and automation initiatives.
• Lead, develop, and manage the accounting team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
• Professional qualification such as SOCPA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, MBA, or equivalent.
• Proven experience managing accounting teams and financial closing activities.
• Strong experience in General Ledger, financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting controls.
• Experience working in a multi-entity or complex organizational environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent English communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Group Finance, Shared Services, or centralized accounting functions.
• Exposure to ERP implementation, financial transformation, or accounting automation.
• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
