Accounting Manager

Role Purpose

Owns day-to-day finance operations and accounting delivery for the Group, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls, and efficient accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Run the month-end close calendar and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Own accounting policies, the Group Chart of Accounts, and the internal control framework.

• Approve journal entries and payments within delegated authority.

• Govern SAP Business One configuration, including posting periods, G/L account determination, and user authorizations.

• Lead and develop the accounting team.

• Coordinate external audits and tax-related activities.

• Period-End Closing

• Posting Templates & Recurring Postings

• G/L Account Determination

• Authorizations & Approval Procedures

• Financial Reports, Document Numbering & Posting Periods

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 8 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial position.

• Hands-on experience with SAP Business One is required.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• High attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.

Languages

• Fluent in English.

• Arabic is an advantage.
