Accounting Manager

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accounting Manager based in Cairo. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing accurate financial statements, overseeing journal entries, and managing fixed assets. The role involves performing financial analysis, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient financial operations. Maintaining accurate books of accounts and leading the monthly and annual close process will be core parts of this role.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of Financial Statements and expertise in generating accurate financial reports
• Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate financial data and provide actionable insights
• Proficiency in managing Journal Entries and other core accounting practices
• Background in Finance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Experience in overseeing Fixed Assets and managing depreciation schedules
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools
• Knowledge of local and international accounting principles is beneficial
