Accounting Manager

Hays have partnered with an organisation in Abu Dhabi who are seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team.

As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Leading and overseeing the end-to-end general accounting and financial reporting function, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with IFRS and organizational policies.
• Driving the development, optimization, and governance of General Ledger processes, ERP interfaces, and financial systems to ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions.
• Providing strategic financial leadership, ensuring high-quality internal and external reporting, strong internal controls, and effective team management to support business objectives.
• Acting as a key business partner to senior management, providing financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to support decision-making.

Requirements to apply:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a similar field is essential.
• Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in Accounting/Finance, including 3+ years in a managerial role
• CA, ACCA, CPA or professional qualification would be preferred
• Background working in Real Estate, Investment or multi-entity environments would be beneficial
• Strong expertise in IFRS, financial reporting, and accounting best practices
• Proven experience in leading finance teams and managing complex accounting environments
• Strong understanding of ERP systems and financial system integrations
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
