You will ensure a strong financial control environment through the development of financial processes, monitoring compliance along with leading the day-to-day activities for the Egyptian business. This role is temporary for 9 months.
A Taste of What You'll Be Doing
- Ensure the timely preparation of accounting bookings by using technical accounting skills
- Control the accounting bookings performed by global business services (GBS) teams
- Responsible for timely issuance of the statutory annual financial statements and other financial reporting obligations for entities
- Liaison with external auditors to provide the required information to finalize the external audit process
- Responsible for quarter-end/year-end management representative letter (MRL) submissions with strict deadlines.
- Keep track of the changes in statutory regulations that can impact and accounting matters
- Ensure that the entities are in corporate compliance with all statutory requirements
- Maintain all financial control documentation in line with Kellanova requirements
- Coordinate the financial committee meetings with business units (BU) to discuss and support the teams on the ongoing matters and report to Regional Controlling team
- Liaison with cross-functional teams (commercial finance, legal, tax, marketing, procurement, HR, etc.) to support in the financial processes
Your Recipe for Success
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles
- Experience in a multinational complex organization preferably in FMCG/Food Industries
- 5 to 7 years of experience
- Proficiency in key IT interfaces
- People management and collaboration skills
- Strong communication and influencing skills with clarity of purpose
- Excellent problem-solving skills
