Virtucruit is partnering with a leading mining company in Saudi Arabia to appoint an
Accounting Officer within the Finance Department.
This role is responsible for managing financial records, processing transactions, and supporting accurate reporting to ensure smooth financial operations within the company. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with accounting standards, maintain accurate records, and assist in financial planning and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and on time.
- Maintain and update accounting records, ledgers, and journals.
- Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing procedures.
- Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review.
Compliance & Audit Support
- Ensure all accounting activities comply with company policies and local regulations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
- Monitor and report discrepancies, errors, or irregularities in financial data.
Budgeting & Reporting
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Track expenses and monitor departmental spending.
- Provide financial analysis to support operational decisions.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
- Minimum 35 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Experience in mining, industrial, or operational environments is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and software.
- Ability to maintain accurate financial records and perform reconciliations.
- Understanding of local regulations and compliance requirements.
