Accounting Product Associate

We are looking for an Accounting Product Manager with strong hands-on accounting experience in the Saudi retail and F&B market. The primary responsibility of this role is to bring deep accounting knowledge into product decisions identifying real pain points, validating workflows, and ensuring accounting accuracy, compliance, and trust within the product.

This role works closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to translate accounting realities into scalable product solutions.

• Act as the accounting subject-matter expert for the Accounting App
• Translate real-world accounting workflows (sales, expenses, VAT, reconciliation) into product requirements
• Identify and validate accountant and merchant pain points through use cases and real scenarios
• Review and validate accounting logic for automated journal entries and reports
• Ensure VAT compliance, auditability, and data integrity across product flows
• Collaborate with engineers to explain accounting rules and edge cases clearly
• Support product discovery with accounting insights, examples, and trade-offs
  

• Strong accounting background with hands-on experience
• Practical experience with Saudi VAT and ZATCA requirements
• Experience serving retail and/or F&B businesses
• Deep understanding of monthly accounting cycles, reconciliations, and VAT filing
• Ability to explain accounting concepts clearly to non-accountants
• Comfortable working with accounting systems (not Excel-only mindset)
