Job Description

Were looking for an Accounting and Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for accounting, a knack for critical thinking, and the flexibility to meet various client demands. Youll primarily handle accounting tasks, ensure compliance with UAE tax laws, and perform administrative duties as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UAE VAT and CT tax regulations
  • Lead accounting services for a set number of clients, aiming to improve service satisfaction
  • Adapt to changing work conditions and client demands with maximum flexibility
  • Engage in self-learning and stay updated on accounting practices and regulations
  • Train and share knowledge with colleagues to foster a collaborative team environment

Qualifications

  • 25 years of extensive experience in accounting, with a solid understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax laws
  • Strong critical thinking skills, independence, and flexibility
  • Loyalty and a natural interest in continuous learning and development
  • Excellent time management and the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • A commitment to achieving full autonomy in task completion within one year

Technical Skills

1. Accounting Proficiency: Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices

2. Knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax Laws: Familiarity with local tax regulations is crucial

3. Financial Reporting: Ability to prepare financial statements and reports accurately

4. Data Analysis: Skills in analyzing financial data to support business decisions

5. Software Competency: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books) and MS Office, especially Excel
