Accounting Supervisor - Healthcare Expert

To manage day-to-day financial operations, including month-end and year-end closing, cash management, financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.

Main Accountabilities

• Manage month-end and year-end financial closing in SAP, ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation of sub-ledgers with the general ledger.
• Prepare financial statements and management accounts in compliance with IFRS and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Oversee corporate tax and VAT compliance, including registrations, filings, and returns.
• Coordinate external audits and support audit requirements.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports covering budgets, expenses, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial performance.
• Support annual budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis for group entities.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial trends, providing insights to management for decision-making.
• Support SAP implementation, troubleshoot finance-related issues, and facilitate effective system adoption.
• Coordinate physical inventory counts and ensure accurate inventory reporting.
• Support risk identification, assessment, and mitigation activities related to financial operations.

Job Specifications: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Qualification: ACCA, CMA, or a Master's degree in Finance from a recognised university.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in a private hospital or healthcare environment.
• Technical Skills: Essential hands-on experience with SAP, financial closing, reconciliations, IFRS, taxation, budgeting, and management reporting.
