About The Role

Octane Solutions, our Finance team plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our financial operations. As an
Accounting Supervisor, you will lead day-to-day accounting activities, oversee financial reporting, and support compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for maintaining financial excellence. You will supervise accounting processes, mentor team members, and collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure accurate financial records and timely reporting.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial transactions.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal company policies.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance to support business decisions.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities during audits and compliance reviews.
- Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team to enhance performance and professional growth.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and financial systems.
- Collaborate with HR, Procurement, Operations, and other departments on finance-related activities.

What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent are considered an advantage.
- Proactive, reliable, and solution-oriented mindset.
