Accounting supervisor - VAT, WHT,ZAKAT compliance

Responsibilities:

-Tax compliance & regulatory reporting

-Manage the preparation and submission of VAT, WHT, and Zakat returns to ZATCA.

-Ensure compliance with Saudi tax regulations, IFRS, and statutory reporting requirements.

-Lead ZATCA audits, inspections, assessments, and tax reviews.

-Stay updated on tax law changes and assess their impact on the business.

-Prepare Zakat computations, declarations, and supporting schedules.

-Review GL transactions and tax reconciliations to ensure reporting accuracy.

-Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.

-Reconcile tax accounts and investigate discrepancies.

-Develop and strengthen tax compliance controls and procedures.

-Respond to tax authority inquiries and coordinate audit requirements.

-Advise management on tax compliance risks and improvement opportunities.

-Support Local Content reporting and compliance requirements.

-Coordinate with internal departments and external consultants as required.

-Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to tax matters

Qualifications

-Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

-Minimum 5-8 years of experience in accounting, tax compliance, or financial reporting.

-Strong experience with VAT, Withholding Tax, Zakat, and Local Content reporting.

-Hands-on experience dealing with ZATCA audits, inspections, and assessments.

-Strong knowledge of IFRS and Saudi tax regulations.

-Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
