Job Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to join our finance team to support our financial operations and ensure the accuracy of our financial records. The Accounts Executive will play a critical role in managing and maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and providing support for financial reporting and analysis. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Management: Maintain and reconcile financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Transaction Processing: Process and record daily financial transactions, including invoices, expenses, and payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies,
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Prepare and present financial summaries to management as needed.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering data, preparing reports, and assisting with variance analysis.
- Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements and internal accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations for financial transactions and records.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Communication: Liaise with other departments to resolve financial issues and provide support related to financial matters.
Requirements:
- Must hold a bachelor&aposs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Should have at least 6 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a similar industry.
- Must possess proficiency in QuickBook.
- Must have expertise in UAE VAT Law.
- Must have expertise in UAE Corporate Tax Law.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
