Position Overview
We are looking for a proactive Accounts Manager responsible for the complete oversight and daily management of our finance operations. You will supervise a small team while personally handling key accounting tasks such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing. The role includes delivering accurate financial reports and ensuring full statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, GL, and petty cash.
- Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer accounts.
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments timely and accurately.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and assist with management reporting.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, WPS, and statutory requirements.
- Monitor cash flow and provide insights to management.
- Support budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis.
- Supervise the Accountant and HR & Payroll Executives.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Production, and Admin for accurate financial tracking.
- Assist auditors during internal and external audits.
- Streamline accounting processes and implement internal controls.
- Recommend improvements to ERP or accounting systems for efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce. Professional certification such as CA, CPA, CMA, or ACCA is strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 810 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, including at least 35 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity within the Manufacturing industries.
- Expert, hands-on knowledge of UAE statutory compliance, including VAT regulations, Corporate Tax, Wages Protection System, and Labor Laws.
- Advanced proficiency in major Accounting Software packages, ERP systems and MS Excel for complex analysis and reporting.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and team leadership skills with a demonstrated process-oriented approach.
