We are now seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant to join our Finance team at Messe Frankfurt Middle East.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring correct coding, approvals, and three-way matching (PO, GR, Invoice)
• Prepare and execute vendor payment runs, ensuring payments are made in line with agreed terms
• Reconcile supplier statements, vendor ledgers, and bank accounts, resolving any discrepancies proactively
• Support month-end close activities, including accruals, invoice cut-off, and ledger reviews
• Monitor and reconcile company credit card expenses and employee reimbursements
• Review purchase orders and support GR/IR monitoring to ensure accurate financial records
• Maintain strong communication with internal teams and suppliers to resolve queries and ensure smooth processing
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Excel
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Fluency in English is essential
