Job Description

  • Record and process all incoming payments (checks, transfers, online payments) in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain and reconcile the Accounts Receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Review and verify invoices, tuition fees, and other receivable transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments (Admissions, Student Affairs, to follow up on pending payments.
  • Prepare and issue customer statements and reminders for overdue invoices.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable by sub-ledgers with the general ledger regularly.
  • Handle refunds, credit notes, and adjustments as per approved financial procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT regulations related to receivables and issue proper tax invoices.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing by providing AR schedules, reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of receipts, invoices, and correspondence for audit purposes.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements related to accounts receivable.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency of the billing and collection process.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Finance Manager or Finance Director.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
SOCPA certification or eligibility preferred
Experience in educational institutions, healthcare, or corporate environment is preferred
Familiar with ERP system - ODOO, Oracle & SAP
