Job Summary
The Accounts Receivable & Sales Accountant is responsible for managing customer accounts, monitoring receivables, and supporting the sales and export operations through accurate financial records, sales reporting, and coordination of required documentation. The role contributes to maintaining smooth cash flow, reliable sales data, and compliant export procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer accounts, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation of accounts receivable.
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with customers to ensure timely payments.
- Prepare periodic sales and accounts receivable reports to support management decision-making.
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions and customer balances.
- Support export operations by preparing and reviewing required export-related documentation, including health and shipment certificates in coordination with relevant authorities.
- Ensure accuracy of product descriptions, quantities, and shipment details in all financial and operational records.
- Communicate with internal departments (sales, logistics, production) to ensure consistency between financial data and actual shipments.
- Maintain proper documentation and records in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Previous experience in accounts receivable, sales accounting, or a similar role (experience in food manufacturing or export-oriented companies is a plus).
- Good understanding of accounting principles and sales reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting systems ( Odoo ERP experience is an advantage).
- Good communication skills and ability to handle external correspondence when required.
