Accounts Receivable Accountant (Saudi Nationals)

Job Purpose

The Accounts Receivable Accountant is responsible for managing customer billing, tracking incoming payments, reconciling customer accounts, and ensuring timely collections in alignment with company policies. The role supports accurate revenue recognition and cash flow management through effective AR reporting and collaboration with commercial and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Invoicing & Collections

• Generate and issue accurate customer invoices in a timely manner.
• Monitor accounts receivable ledger to identify overdue accounts and follow up with customers for payment.
• Apply incoming payments against invoices and reconcile discrepancies with customers.

Account Reconciliation & Reporting

• Reconcile AR sub-ledger to general ledger and resolve variances.
• Prepare AR aging reports and highlight collection risks or exposure.
• Track and report daily, weekly, and monthly cash receipts against targets.

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, VAT/tax regulations, and company controls.
• Maintain accurate records for audit trails and assist in AR-related audit requests.

Collaboration & Customer Support

• Coordinate with commercial, sales, and customer service teams to resolve billing disputes or customer queries.
• Support month-end close by providing accurate AR data and reports.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or finance operations.

Skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle).
• Strong knowledge of AR processes, collections, and reconciliation.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and customer relationship skills.
