Role Description The AR Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt, responsible for managing accounts receivable processes and supporting the finance function. Day-to-day tasks include issuing and reviewing invoices, recording and reconciling customer payments, monitoring outstanding balances, and following up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections. The role also involves preparing AR reports, assisting with month-end closing activities, and maintaining accurate financial records in accordance with company policies. The AR Accountant collaborates closely with internal teams and clients to resolve billing discrepancies and provide clear, professional communication on all receivable matters.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Accounting and Finance skills, including experience with accounts receivable, invoicing, and basic financial reporting.
• Candidates should possess developed Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify discrepancies, and support decision-making in AR processes.
• Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills to interact effectively with clients, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, including handling spreadsheets, reconciliations, and data entry.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in accounts receivable or a similar accounting role is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Cairo, Egypt, and collaborate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
