Actuarial Assistant

Assist the Actuarial Manager in performing the following tasks:

Pricing of Motor Portfolio:

• Data extraction and quality/adequacy assessment;
• Data validation and reconciliation;
• Generation of rating factors;
• Initial pricing generation and supporting the AA in establishing the Third party and comprehensive net premium pricing framework;

Pricing of Medical Portfolio:

• Data extraction and quality/adequacy assessment;
• Data validation and reconciliation;
• Generation of rating factors;
• Initial pricing generation and supporting the AA in establishing the Group and SME net premium pricing framework;
• Expense analysis, allocation and expense factor built up;

Quarterly Motor Pricing & Medical Adequacy

• Regular experience studies for the following:
• Risk factors
• Expense factors
• Measure the deviation in the profitability due to the actual experience getting realized;

Valuation and Financial Reporting as Per IFRS17

• Data extraction and quality/adequacy assessment;
• Data validation and reconciliation;
• Reconciliation with:
• Previous data set
• Financial reported numbers
• Premium, Claims and Reinsurance registers

Education:

• Bachelor Degree in Actuarial Science

Experience:

• 0 - 2 Year

• Superior to excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• High degree of self-motivation and creative problem solving

Others:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Products (Excel, Access, VBA)
• Knowledge of SQL/Python/R/Tableau, or desire to learn
