At EFS Facilities Services, we are looking for a technically strong and execution-focused Engineer – ADDC to support electrical operations, maintenance, and compliance across our facilities management operations in the UAE. This role is critical in ensuring reliable electrical systems performance, adherence to ADDC/TAQA standards, and safe execution of all electrical works.
Role Overview
The Engineer – ADDC will be responsible for managing electrical systems, ensuring compliance with ADDC/TAQA requirements, and supporting maintenance and operational activities across assigned operations. The role focuses on ensuring system reliability, supporting fault identification and resolution, and maintaining adherence to safety and regulatory standards. This position requires strong technical expertise, hands-on execution capability, and the ability to work independently while supporting operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day electrical operations and maintenance activities across assigned operations
- Ensure compliance with ADDC/TAQA standards and regulatory requirements
- Support maintenance of electrical systems, substations, and switchgear equipment
- Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover of substations and related electrical systems
- Monitor system performance, identify faults, and ensure timely resolution
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and authorities for electrical works and approvals
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and operational SOPs
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to electrical operations
- Support audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance checks
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in system efficiency and reliability
What We're Looking For
- Valid ADDC CP1 and CP2 certification is mandatory
- Strong understanding of electrical systems in line with TAQA/ADDC requirements
- Hands-on experience in testing and commissioning of substations and maintenance of substations and switchgear systems
- Exposure to facilities management or maintenance environments
- Experience in team supervision and development
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving capability
- Proactive approach to work with strong ownership and accountability
- High attention to detail with strong safety awareness
- Strong learning agility and adaptability to operational requirements
- Strong coordination and communication skills
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Valid ADDC CP1 and CP2 certification
