Administrative Assistant / Secretary Trainee (Tamheer Program)

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant / Secretary Trainee to join our organization through Tamheer Program. This role is primarily secretarial in nature and provides the trainee with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the sector aligned with their area of interest, while supporting different departments with daily administrative and secretarial tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a departmental secretary, providing administrative and clerical support.
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for managers and teams.
  • Prepare, format, and file official correspondence, letters, reports, and documents.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing emails, calls, and internal communications professionally.
  • Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and hard copy).
  • Follow up on requests, approvals, and action items across departments.
  • Assist in preparing meeting agendas, taking minutes, and tracking action items.
  • Support coordination of meetings, workshops, and internal events.
  • Perform other secretarial and administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Diploma degree.
  • Eligible for the Tamheer program (HRDF).

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Professional communication and telephone etiquette.
  • High level of organization, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to multitask and work with multiple departments.
  • Positive attitude and attention to detail.
