We're Hiring: Admissions & Enrollment Officer

Location: Nasr City, Cairo, Egypt — On-site

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Flexible 8-hour shifts, mainly afternoon/evening

Windsor University USA is looking for a motivated, organized, and student-focused professional to join our Cairo team as an Admissions & Enrollment Officer.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in education, university admissions, enrollment services, student recruitment, academic advising, or student support.

About the Role

The Admissions & Enrollment Officer will guide prospective students through the admissions process, review applications and supporting documents, answer program-related questions, and follow up with applicants from initial inquiry through enrollment.

The selected candidate will work closely with students, admissions staff, faculty members, and university administrators to help provide an organized, accurate, and supportive admissions experience.

This is an education-focused position. Candidates should understand how universities, academic programs, admissions requirements, and student enrollment processes operate.

Important Location Requirement

Because this is an on-site position, candidates must live within approximately 30 minutes of our Nasr City office.

Applicants who live too far from Nasr City or outside Greater Cairo may not be considered.

Important Experience Requirement

Prior experience in the education sector is required.

Candidates with experience in universities, schools, educational institutions, training centers, academic advising, admissions, enrollment, or student services will be preferred.

Applicants with only general sales, customer service, or call-center experience and no education-sector background may not be considered.

Main Responsibilities

Admissions and Application Support

  • Guide prospective students through the university application process
  • Explain admissions requirements, program options, tuition, scholarships, and application procedures
  • Assist applicants in completing application forms correctly
  • Review applications and supporting documents for completeness
  • Identify missing documents and follow up with applicants
  • Help applicants understand academic and English proficiency requirements
  • Organize applicant records and maintain accurate admissions files
  • Track applicants throughout the admissions and enrollment process
  • Ensure applications are processed accurately and on time
  • Escalate complex admissions questions to the appropriate university administrator

Student Communication and Follow-Up

  • Respond professionally to prospective student inquiries
  • Communicate with applicants through email, telephone, online meetings, and approved messaging platforms
  • Conduct consistent follow-up with applicants who have started but not completed their applications
  • Provide clear updates regarding application status and required next steps
  • Schedule preliminary meetings or admissions interviews when needed
  • Support admitted students as they prepare to begin their programs
  • Maintain accurate records of student communications and follow-up activities
  • Help create a positive and supportive experience for every applicant

Program and Academic Guidance

  • Provide accurate general information about Windsor University USA programs
  • Help students compare available programs based on their educational goals
  • Explain program formats, schedules, admissions standards, and graduation expectations
  • Coordinate with academic staff when applicants have program-specific questions
  • Assist students with general study-related and international education questions
  • Provide general information about study and visa-related procedures when applicable, without providing legal advice
  • Refer applicants to qualified university personnel when questions require academic, financial, or immigration authorization

Document Review and Administrative Support

  • Review transcripts, identification documents, resumes, statements, and other application materials
  • Check documents for completeness, clarity, and consistency
  • Maintain organized digital admissions records
  • Prepare applicant summaries and internal admissions reports
  • Update student information in university systems and tracking documents
  • Assist with admissions letters, enrollment communications, and official notifications
  • Follow university admissions policies and confidentiality requirements
  • Support administrative tasks related to student onboarding and enrollment

Admissions Research and Content

  • Research admissions practices and requirements when assigned
  • Draft clear admissions instructions, email templates, website content, and student guidance materials
  • Help update frequently asked questions and application instructions
  • Review admissions-related website content for accuracy
  • Support informational meetings, webinars, and recruitment events
  • Assist with creating professional admissions announcements and student communications

Collaboration and Institutional Support

  • Work closely with admissions, student services, faculty, administration, and leadership teams
  • Coordinate with faculty members regarding academic questions from applicants
  • Support student enrollment and onboarding activities
  • Participate in admissions meetings and training sessions
  • Help improve admissions procedures and applicant communication
  • Represent Windsor University USA professionally with students, families, faculty members, and external contacts

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Prior experience in the education sector is required
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
