We are expanding our EMEA Technical Services organization and are looking for a highly motivated
Advanced Technical Support Specialist, based in Cairo, to strengthen our support for Lenovo's strategic partners across the Middle East Africa region.
This new role bridges is designed for a technically strong, customer-oriented engineer who is ready to take on a wider regional scope.
The specialist will focus on supporting our partners, improving service quality, and ensuring rapid technical issue resolution while being ready to travel within the region when required.
We are looking for a professional who combines hands-on technical expertise with excellent communication skills, especially in Arabic and English, and who thrives in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide enhanced technical support to Lenovo Authorized Service Partners (ASPs) and Business Partners across the region.
- Act as a bridge between L1.5 and L2, supporting complex hardware and software issues and escalating appropriately when needed.
- Work closely with partners, account teams, and customers to diagnose, replicate, and resolve advanced technical issues.
- Conduct on-site visits within the region when required to support investigations, partner enablement, or critical customer situations.
- Deliver Subject Matter Expert guidance to partners and internal Lenovo teams.
- Ensure timely, professional communication to maintain excellent partner satisfaction and strong customer experience.
- Collaborate with the broader Lenovo technical community to drive sustainable fix solutions.
- Support service quality initiatives, partner training, and continuous improvement of technical processes.
Position Requirements
- 3+ years experience in technical support, field engineering, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of PC hardware, peripherals, troubleshooting methodologies, and system-level diagnostics.
- Experience with Microsoft OS deployment, Windows troubleshooting, and domain/server environments.
- Solid understanding of networking technologies (wired wireless). Networking certifications are an advantage.
- Experience with Linux, Android, Lenovo tools, or HW/SW testing is a plus.
- Excellent problem determination and analytical skills with a logical, methodical approach.
- Strong customer-facing and partner-facing communication skills (verbal and written).
- Fluent Arabic and English (mandatory).
- Ability and willingness to travel within the MEA region when necessary.
- Self-driven, well-organized, able to work independently and meet deadlines.
