Job Description

Robert Walters has partnered with a prestigious organization in Saudi Arabia to hire an Advisor - Life Insurance to join and support its executive leadership team.

You will act as a subject-matter expert to the CEO and senior leadership, guiding the development of life-insurance policies, strategies, supervisory frameworks, and industry standards. The role plays a key part in shaping market practices, strengthening governance, and supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise leadership on policy direction, strategy, and sector-wide life-insurance development.

  • Refine regulatory frameworks for underwriting, pricing adequacy, reserving, and claims oversight.

  • Lead technical knowledge-transfer sessions and mentor junior specialists.

  • Support thematic examinations, analysing frequency, severity, reserving, and loss-ratio trends.

  • Monitor global trends and deliver strategic insights to senior management.

  • Contribute to policy guidelines, product-filing rules, and supervisory circulars.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 20 years of experience within the insurance industry
  • Strong technical background across underwriting standards, product development, pricing, and risk

  • Experience working with mature insurance markets (UK, EU, South Africa, GCC, etc.)

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
