1. Role Purpose
The Agile Coach enables Aldar Estates teams to adopt, scale, and mature agile ways of working across digital, operations, product, and transformation initiatives. The role acts as a servant leader, supporting crossfunctional teams, product managers, and delivery leads to accelerate value creation, enhance collaboration, and instill a culture of continuous improvement.
The Agile Coach also leverages AI-assisted agile tools to improve delivery velocity, planning accuracy, and team effectiveness across the Estates portfolio.
2. Key Responsibilities
2.1 Agile Leadership & Framework Adoption
- Guide teams in adopting Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid delivery frameworks.
- Coach product managers, scrum masters, and delivery teams on agile practices and events.
- Facilitate sprint ceremonies where needed to support team maturity.
- Embed agile ways of working across operational and digital initiatives
2.2 Agile Transformation & Continuous Improvement
- Identify process and cultural blockers; recommend improvements aligned with Aldar Estates transformation roadmap.
- Scale agile practices consistently across multiple teams.
- Use agile performance metrics (velocity, cycle time, throughput) to drive improvement.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and iterative delivery.
2.3 Digital & AI-Driven Agile Enablement
- Use AI to assist in writing user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
- Apply AI-driven predictive analytics to detect delivery risks and capacity constraints.
- Automate retrospective insights from collaboration tool transcripts.
- Develop AI-powered dashboards to track flow metrics and team performance.
- Use generative AI for summarizing sprint outcomes, generating backlog documentation, and detecting blockers.
2.4 Coaching, Facilitation & Stakeholder Engagement
- Provide hands-on coaching for digital, operations, CX, and transformation teams.
- Mentor product owners and delivery leads on prioritization, planning, and customer-centric design.
- Facilitate conflict resolution, alignment workshops, and cross-team collaboration.
- Partner closely with leadership to champion agile culture.
2.5 Portfolio & Strategic Alignment
- Support portfolio-level prioritization, ensuring alignment to Estates strategic goals.
- Guide teams in backlog refinement and value-based decision making.
- Ensure agile delivery contributes to operational efficiency and customer experience targets.
2.6 Measurement & Reporting
- Define and manage agile dashboards and performance reports.
- Use AI sentiment analytics to evaluate team morale and collaboration issues.
- Provide transparent insights to leadership on progress, risks, dependencies, and value delivery.
3. Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Preferred certifications: CSM/PSM, PMI-ACP, ICP-ACC, SAFe.
Experience
- 510 years of experience as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, or agile transformation lead.
- Experience coaching multiple cross-functional teams simultaneously.
- Experience supporting digital product delivery, operations, or enterprise transformation programs.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and scaling frameworks
- Skilled in agile tools: Jira, Azure DevOps, M365 Copilot, or equivalent platforms.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze delivery data and convert it into actionable insights.
