AI & Analytics Engineer

WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS

A D2C business generates a great deal of data — every order, return, size exchange, ad rupee, stock-out and store visit. That data decides what we make, how much of it, what it costs and who we show it to. We are building an AI-native, analytics-driven organisation so those decisions are made from evidence rather than instinct — and we are early enough in that build that you will help shape the foundation rather than inherit one.

THE ROLE

You will work directly with the Analytics Head on problems that reach every part of the business —

product, marketing, supply chain and retail. The work is hands-on, with unusual visibility for a first role: you write the code, run the analysis, and sit in the room where the decision gets made.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand problems, gather requirements and define success metrics.

• Translate ambiguous business challenges into structured analytical solutions.

• Build scalable SQL models, Python pipelines and dashboards for self-service analytics.

• Design AI-first workflows using LLMs, AI agents, MCPs, prompt engineering and workflow automation platforms.

• Identify repetitive manual tasks and automate them using AI.

• Prototype, evaluate and deploy AI use cases with measurable business impact.

• Work closely with Data Engineering, Product and Business teams to build scalable solutions.

Required Technical Skills

Programming: Python, SQL

Analytics: Business Analytics, KPI Design, Experimentation, A/B Testing, Statistical Thinking

AI: Generative AI, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, AI Agents, RAG, Workflow Automation, MCP concepts

Visualization: Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Metabase or similar

Bonus: ClickHouse, dbt, Airflow, Git, Cloud Platforms

Experience & Education

• 1–5 years of experience in Analytics, Data Science, AI or Business Intelligence.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related disciplines.

• Preferred candidates from IITs, BITS Pilani, IIITs, IISc, Top NITs and IIMs (technical/analytical backgrounds).
