Job Description
The Senior Director of AI & Data provides strategic leadership for the organization's end-to-end data and artificial intelligence capabilities, ensuring data assets and AI solutions directly support business strategy, digital transformation, and measurable value creation. This role sets the vision, governance, and operating model for AI and data platforms, oversees cross-functional delivery, and acts as the executive authority on data-driven decision-making and responsible AI.
Departments Under The Role
- Data Engineering Leads the design, development, and operation of scalable, secure, and high-quality data platforms (data lakes, warehouses, streaming, and integrations), ensuring reliable data availability, governance, and performance across the enterprise.
- Data Analytics Drives descriptive, diagnostic, and advanced analytics to generate actionable insights, dashboards, and decision support for executives and business units, translating data into clear business outcomes.
- AI Engineering Oversees the development, deployment, and lifecycle management of AI/ML and GenAI solutions, including model engineering, MLOps, and responsible AI practices, delivering production-grade AI systems at scale.
Candidate Requirements
Job Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive experience in data, analytics, and/or AI roles, including senior leadership responsibility.
- Master of Science degree preferred in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience working with cloud platforms, with strong preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering complex, high-impact data and AI projects from strategy through production.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and execution capabilities across multidisciplinary teams.
