Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly knowledgeable Artificial Intelligence Consultant with a specialization in Bioinformatics and Biotechnology. The ideal candidate will hold a PhD in a relevant field and possess extensive expertise in applying AI techniques to solve complex biological and biotechnological problems. This role involves providing expert consultation on AI projects, developing innovative computational tools, and collaborating with researchers and healthcare professionals to advance our understanding of biological processes and improve healthcare outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert consultation on AI projects in bioinformatics and biotechnology, including study design, data analysis, and interpretation.
- Develop and implement advanced AI algorithms and computational tools for analyzing biological data.
- Analyze and interpret large-scale biological data sets, including genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic data.
- Collaborate with researchers and healthcare professionals to integrate AI solutions into their work.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, bioinformatics, and biotechnology.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on research findings and AI applications.
- Mentor and train team members on AI tools and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- PhD in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Biology, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience with AI tools and software, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
