AI Engineer - Generative AI / LLM

We're Hiring – AI Engineer | Generative AI & LLM | Qatar

STATERA Middle East is looking for an experienced AI Engineer to join a strategic 1-year project in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy AI solutions in real-world environments
• Develop Generative AI and LLM-based applications
• Translate business requirements into practical and scalable AI solutions
• Design and optimize prompts and AI workflows
• Evaluate LLM and AI model performance, quality, accuracy, and reliability
• Define and execute AI model evaluation and validation approaches
• Support the integration and deployment of AI solutions into production environments
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders throughout the AI solution lifecycle

Required Experience & Skills

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in AI Engineering / Machine Learning
• Strong practical experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Proven experience in Prompt Engineering
• Strong knowledge of AI/LLM evaluation and testing methodologies
• Experience building and deploying end-to-end AI solutions
• Ability to translate business use cases into working AI applications
• Strong understanding of model performance, validation, and real-world AI use cases
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience with modern AI/LLM frameworks and APIs
• Good communication skills in English

Nice to Have

• Experience with RAG architectures, embeddings, and vector databases
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex or similar frameworks
• Knowledge of MLOps / LLMOps and cloud environments
• Previous experience delivering enterprise AI solutions
