Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a AI Engineer at Pelcro. The AI Engineer will be responsible for back-end web development, software development, object-oriented programming (OOP), and working with databases on a day-to-day basis.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a Python-based customer service AI agent leveraging Zendesk and Pelcro APIs.
• Integrate and troubleshoot third-party API connections. (NodeJS) is also an alternative.
• Design and implement proprietary machine learning algorithms for various AI projects.
• Collaborate with product, data science, and customer support teams to align project goals.
• Ensure code quality through testing, documentation, and adherence to best practices.
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to system architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs; familiarity with Zendesk API and Pelcro API is a plus.
• Solid understanding of machine learning concepts and experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Proficiency in software development best practices, including version control (Git), testing, and CI/CD.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
