Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Azure AI Engineer with 8+ years of experience to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade AI/ML and Generative AI solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Azure AI services, Azure Databricks, and Azure AI Foundry, with hands-on experience in building scalable, secure, and production-ready AI systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement AI/ML solutions using Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, and Azure Machine Learning.
- Develop and deploy Generative AI applications leveraging Azure AI Foundry.
- Integrate LLM-based applications using APIs, vector databases, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into AI-driven solutions.
- Implement model monitoring, governance, and responsible AI practices.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, cost optimization, and security of AI platforms.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for ML deployments.
Technical Skills:
- Azure AI Services (Cognitive Services, Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning)
- Azure AI Foundry / Generative AI frameworks
- Strong programming skills in Python / .NET
- Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture
- Knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, and vector databases
- Understanding of cloud security, IAM, and governance in Azure
Good to Have:
- Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Azure DevOps)
- Knowledge of LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or similar frameworks
- Certifications in Azure AI or Azure Data
Experience & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of overall IT experience with at least 3+ years in AI/ML or Generative AI
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale AI solutions
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good to have: AI certification (to be shared) / Azure certifications
