About the Team:

The PhysicsAI Team at Siemens is leveraging AI to reinvent the product design cycle. With a focus on customer impact and a strong culture of collaboration and innovation, we're harnessing emerging technologies like geometric deep learning and generative AI to enable faster product design.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver state-of-the-art AI powered engineering solutions
  • Collaborate closely with product management, research, and user experience teams to deliver novel technologies within a fast-growing product
  • Lead software engineering initiatives ensuring high quality and on-time delivery
  • Engineer and optimize high performing machine learning pipelines to harvest and process geometric data at scale

What You Will Bring:

  • A problem-solving mindset, eagerness to collaborate, and excitement to learn
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related technical field
  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Experience using and implementing numerical methods and algorithms
  • Strong proficiency in C++ and Python
  • Good understanding of data structures, design patterns and object-oriented programming
  • Ability to write clear, modular code and unit tests
  • Comfortable in both Windows and Linux
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Additional / Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with multi-threading, MPI or CUDA
  • Experience optimizing, debugging, or profiling for high-performance applications
  • Track record of implementing numerical methods from academic papers
  • Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as Pytorch, Tensorflow or JAX
