JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Title: AI/IT Project Manager

Reports to: IT Program Manager

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The AI/IT Project Manager role will support existing programs across various technologies, processes, and departments. The projects will be multi-disciplined (Software, Security, BI, etc) and will deliver a diverse output of requirements. Essential elements to this role are a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the business.

AI Project Manager is expected to be an agent of change promoting collaboration in the work environment and agile methodologies. Their key focus is to drive projects forward and work collaboratively to keep teams on track and remove obstacles. Project Manager needs to possess great communication skills and be flexible to work in a constantly changing environment.

Note: The role will be expected to work in European or US Time Zones as standard but may be required to change time zones occasionally as projects dictate.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Lead projects from inception to close, with superb planning and communication skills to establish timelines, prioritize work, and manage expectations.

Facilitate discussion, decision making and conflict resolution. Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence up to C-level.

Ensure effective and clear communication of projects and developments in progress.

Create and centralize documentation required to direct the delivery of the projects (process mapping, requirements, proposal documents, etc). Ensure appropriate approval and project phase management.

Analyze key processes in search of strategies that generate the improvement of processes.

Facilitate productive discussions to establish requirements and consider design alternatives with multi-functional teams.

Write, approve, and prioritize user stories and clearly document requirements with a solid business understanding and strong attention to detail.

Guide delivery team to execute on defined requirements, remove blocking issues from day-to-day operations of the team, and identify and communicate risks.

Comfortable presenting to internal stakeholders (peer and executives) on project strategy, deliverables, and outputs.

Ensure detailed handover of responsibilities to deliver teams for implementation and transfer of projects to BAU.

Qualifications:

o Fluency in English (C2 written and verbal) is essential.

o 3+ years of experience in a project management role.

o 1 year IT Project Experience.

o CAPM, PMP or Prince 2 desired.

o Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt desired.

o Must have a strong IT background (generalist IT experience preferred).

o Project Planning.

o Ability to plan, define and organize activities with concrete dates/timeline, in order to create a project plan, in a way that ensures productivity and performance; Knowledge in the variables implied in project management such as integration mgmt., scope mgmt., schedule mgmt., cost/budget mgmt., quality mgmt., resources mgmt., communication & reporting mgmt., risk mgmt., procurement mgmt. and stakeholder mgmt.

o Risk-Assessment & Escalation. Ability to identify, assess, and prioritize all types of risks and where they could come from, such as natural causes, legal changes, or uncertainty in any given context, and the methods on dealing with risks effectively.

o Problem Solving and Critical Thinking. Ability to Identify and define. problems through the gathering of relevant information leading to the development of alternative solutions. Experience of managing projects, implementations and process change to a large employee base.

o Effective Communication. Ability to listen, understand and take action on what other people say; Capacity to define SMART goals and report the project status properly

o Stakeholder Management. The ability to create positive relationships with stakeholders through the appropriate management of their expectations and agreed objectives.

o Project Management Governance & Methodologies. Adherence to global standards and best practices for Global PMO.

o Project Management. Understand project management and the activities which comprise this process group; Knowledge in the variables implied in project management such as integration mgmt, scope mgmt, schedule mgmt, cost/budget mgmt, quality mgmt, resources mgmt, communication & reporting mgmt, risk mgmt, procurement mgmt and stakeholder mgmt

o Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in data analysis and reporting.

o Curiosity and Eagerness to Learn: Staying updated with the latest tools and technologies.

o Ability to lead and inspire others (non-direct reports).

o Strong presentation skills and the ability to breakdown complex topics for non-SMEs.

o Excellent disposition for teamwork.

o Analysis capacity, Learning Capacity and Service Attitude.

o Assertive, verbal, and written communication skills.

o Proficiency with tools such as MS Project, MS Visio, JIRA, Confluence, Power Platform.

o Maintain clear and timely communication on development status and projects status.

o Project Plan Phase Dates (Real Date Vs Planned Date).

o Project Closure Date (Real Date Vs Planned Date).

o UAT Pass Rates.
