Air Traffic Controller - Tower & Approach
Role Purpose
To provide safe, orderly, and expeditious Air Traffic Control (ATC) services in accordance with the privileges granted under the Air Traffic Controller License, ensuring compliance with applicable ICAO standards, regulatory requirements, and the certificate of competency relevant to the assigned operational area.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, orderly, and efficient Tower and/or Approach Air Traffic Control Services.
- Deliver Air Traffic Services in accordance with ICAO standards, regulatory requirements, and operational procedures.
- Maintain the highest standards of safety, operational performance, and professionalism.
- Support the implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS) and Quality Management System (QMS).
- Report operational occurrences, equipment failures, and potential safety hazards through the appropriate reporting channels.
- Maintain operational competency and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform any additional duties required to support operational and organizational requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should possess:
- Valid Air Traffic Controller License with current ratings.
- Valid ATCO Medical Certificate.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency (Level 4 or above).
- Successful completion of relevant ICAO training.
- Minimum three (3) years of continuous operational experience at a major international unit following successful completion of an Area Proficiency Check (APC).
- Proven ability to operate within a complex, high-density airspace environment.
- Strong communication and decision-making skills.
