Aircraft Mechanical Technician.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled mechanical maintenance on aircraft in accordance with approved maintenance procedures and technical documentation.
- Carry out tasks including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and minor rectification.
- Ensure the quality and completeness of all maintenance work performed.
- Complete aircraft maintenance forms, records, and required documentation accurately.
- Work in compliance with the company's Quality Management System and applicable technical orders and procedures.
- Ensure all required authorizations and qualifications are valid for assigned tasks.
- Identify any training or competency requirements and highlight them to the immediate supervisor.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and technical compliance.
Essential Requirements
- Completion of a recognized Aircraft Engineering Trade Apprenticeship.
- NVQ/C&G Level 3 in Aircraft Maintenance or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification practical aircraft maintenance experience within an operational flying environment, or successful completion of a recognized apprenticeship programmed.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Experience on modern military aircraft.
- Experience using IMS/ESS or similar maintenance management systems.
- Experience using Trilogiview or similar technical documentation systems.
- Experience working with military aviation documentation and procedures.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
