Job Description

Job Title: Aircraft Painter

Location: United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

About the Role:

We are hiring an experienced Aircraft Painter to join a professional maintenance and paint team in the UAE. This role involves surface preparation, painting, and finishing of aircraft to meet company, manufacturer, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare aircraft surfaces through sanding, cleaning, masking, and treating
  • Mix and apply primers, paints, and finishes per technical specifications
  • Use spray guns, air compressors, and sanding tools safely and effectively
  • Inspect painted areas for consistency, finish quality, and perform touch-ups
  • Follow safety guidelines for hazardous materials and the use of PPE
  • Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, organised work area
  • Keep accurate records of materials used and tasks completed
  • Collaborate with other maintenance teams to meet deadlines

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of aircraft painting experience
  • Knowledge of surface prep, application methods, and paint systems
  • Ability to read and follow technical drawings and work instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and quality focus
  • English communication skills are essential
  • Physically fit to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and tolerate paint environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • FAA A&P license or equivalent (not mandatory)
  • Experience with composite materials or speciality coatings
  • Previous MRO or aerospace industry experience

Working Conditions:

  • Work in hangars and paint booths
  • Exposure to fumes, noise, and chemicals (with PPE)
  • May require shift work, weekends, and overtime
