Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Program Manager to oversee the Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE) development process for aircraft cabin and exterior components. The role ensures the timely delivery of world-class cabin layouts that meet guest experience, cost, and scheduling goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full BFE development process for seats, galleys, IFE, connectivity, lavatories, stowage, lighting, cabin systems, and external livery.
- Lead and manage BFE and aircraft milestone reviews, ensuring successful completion of entry and exit criteria.
- Coordinate with BFE suppliers and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) to ensure timely delivery.
- Oversee the aircraft specification process, working closely with manufacturers and internal stakeholders, including Flight Operations, Guest Experience, Guest Services, and Cargo.
- Manage and coordinate the cabin installation process to ensure compliance with agreed specifications and delivery timelines.
Qualifications & Experience
- 810 years total experience, including at least 5 years in BFE development, aircraft program management, airline engineering, or product development.
- Strong knowledge of the BFE development process, milestone deliverables, and certification regulations.
- Proven skills in project management, with experience in multi-cultural environments.
